Jason Roy continued his rich vein of form in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) as he once again completed a quick half-century in the game against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will be delighted with Roy’s performance, as he previously smashed an incredible fifty against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the last game and followed it up with yet another impressive display with the bat.
Roy’s knock of 50 runs came off just 22 balls, and it included 5 sixes and 4 fours. He targeted Shahbaz Ahmed in the 6th over to smash four sixes, including a hattrick of sixes, and also concluded the power-play session with another six in the same over. The crowd at the Chinnaswamy Stadium was treated to some breathtaking power-hitting by Roy, who took the RCB bowling attack to the cleaners.
Roy’s form has been crucial for KKR in the ongoing IPL, and he has quickly established himself as one of their mainstays at the top of the order.
