All-rounder Jason Holder & Sherfane Rutherford reach UAE to play for Sunrisers Hyderabad

Holder and Rutherford were playing in the recently concluded Caribbean Premier League (CPL) and will just have to undergo a two-day quarantine before joining their team’s bio bubble, as specified by the country’s rules in regards to travel restrictions for different countries. Unlike others, they won’t have to undergo a six-day isolation period and join the team, which will be good for their team. The bubble to bubble transfer also means that they do not have to quarantine for the same number of days.

Sunrisers Hyderabad tweeted that the big man from the Caribbean, which is Jason Holder, is here and have welcomed him back. They put another tweet which stated to the fans to say hello to their new signing Sherfane Rutherford.

Sherfane Rutherford has already played for two IPL teams, which are the Mumbai Indians and the Delhi Capitals. He played a total of 7 matches for these two franchises He scored 262 runs in the 2021 edition of the CPL at a strike rate of 127.18. Holder has scored 109 runs and has taken 5 wickets in that tournament. Holder has played for the Chennai Super Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad. This is his second stint with the team.

The 14th edition of the cricket extravaganza was postponed due to the bio-bubble breach that took place during the second wave in India. It was suspended in early May due to this situation.
