Jaiswal joins elite RR list with another rapid fifty

Yashasvi Jaiswal added another 50-plus score to his name, moving into an elite group for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL. With this innings, he now has 19 fifty-plus scores, placing him alongside Ajinkya Rahane and ahead of several key names in the franchise’s history.

Only Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson have more fifty-plus scores for RR, both with 25 each. Shane Watson sits further down the list with 16. Jaiswal’s rise in this group reflects his consistency at the top of the order.

In a rain-shortened game reduced to 11 overs, Jaiswal set the tone early. He scored 64 off 27 balls, striking seven fours and four sixes at a high strike rate.

RR reached 130 for 3 in 9.3 overs, maintaining a strong scoring rate of 13.68 runs per over.

His innings included clean hitting and control, as he handled both pace and spin with confidence. The early aggression allowed Rajasthan Royals to stay ahead despite the reduced overs, putting pressure on the opposition from the start.

Jaiswal’s form continues to be a key factor for RR, especially in shorter games where quick starts are crucial. His ability to convert starts into big scores has made him one of the main contributors for the side this season.
