KKR cross 100 as SRH errors pile up in the field

Kolkata Knight Riders moved past 100 inside nine overs, helped by a series of fielding mistakes. The over from Shivam Kumar went for runs despite mixed execution, with misfields turning routine stops into boundaries.

Rinku Singh and Angkrish Raghuvanshi kept the scoreboard moving. Raghuvanshi moved into the forties with controlled strokeplay, while Rinku rotated strike. Two boundaries in the over came directly from errors in the deep, frustrating the bowler.

Missed chances hurt SRH after review call

Sunrisers Hyderabad also lost a review earlier in the over when Raghuvanshi survived a caught-behind appeal. Third umpire Nitin Menon upheld the on-field decision after confirming no edge.

Fielders failed to support the bowlers, with misjudged runs and slips allowing extra runs. The pressure shifted further as KKR capitalised on every error, keeping the required rate under control after a quick start despite early wickets.
