Rajasthan Royals rode on Dhruv Jurel’s 75 to post 210 for 6. The innings had a clear shape. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi laid the platform with a quick opening stand, and Jurel finished it off with control and clean hitting.
Jurel takes charge after solid start
Jurel batted with control in the middle overs. He waited for loose balls, used the pace, and kept the scoreboard moving. His 75 off 42 gave RR the push they needed after the openers set the tone. He picked gaps well and also cleared the ropes when needed.
There was no panic even when wickets fell. Jurel kept rotating strike and then shifted gears in the death overs. The timing of his shots stood out more than brute force. That allowed RR to stay above 10 runs per over throughout the innings.
Jaiswal–Sooryavanshi set the base
The start came from Jaiswal and Sooryavanshi. Both played with intent and attacked the bowling early. They took on the powerplay and ensured RR were ahead of the game from the first few overs.
Jaiswal crossed fifty and gave the innings structure before getting out. Sooryavanshi played a key supporting role with quick runs and positive intent. Their partnership allowed the middle order to play freely, knowing the platform was strong.
Big finish puts GT under pressure
RR finished on 210 for 6, with a strong closing phase adding 50 runs in the last five overs. The finish was built on Jurel’s innings, which anchored the side through the innings.
For Gujarat Titans, the concern will be the way RR kept scoring at a steady rate and then accelerated late. The total looks above par, and it now puts pressure on their batting unit to respond.
