Rajasthan Royals made a positive start after opting to bat, reaching 33 without loss in 3.1 overs against Gujarat Titans, with Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi continuing their productive partnership.

Jaiswal looked fluent early, scoring 16 off nine balls with two fours and a six, while Sooryavanshi settled in quickly with 14 off 10 deliveries. The pair maintained a scoring rate above ten an over, ensuring there was no early pressure despite the new ball.

The opening stand has now crossed 500 runs as a pair in the IPL, placing them among the more effective combinations in the league. Their scoring rate of 12.02 runs per over is one of the quickest recorded for pairs with at least 500 runs together.

Only the duos of Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma, as well as Phil Salt and Sunil Narine, have scored at a faster rate in that category.

For Rajasthan, the early momentum reflects a clear approach at the top. Both batters have looked to attack from the outset, taking advantage of the field restrictions and putting Gujarat on the back foot in the opening overs.
