Toss Update: Delhi Capitals have won the toss and opted to bowl first

Axar Patel (Delhi Capitals Captain): I chose to bowl first. First game at home, want to see how the pitch plays. Looks a little dry, looks hard as well. We chased in the last game and hence I would like to chase once again

Suryakumar Yadav: We would have batted first as well. I think they wanted to bowl first and we wanted to bat first. Very happy to bat first. It looks a good one. We have done well here while batting first. Quite a few changes. Deepak Chahar comes in for Hardik. Corbin Bosch comes in for Boulty, that’s a tactical change.

Suryakumar to lead MI as Hardik ruled out

Hardik Pandya misses out for Mumbai Indians after failing a late fitness check. At the toss, Suryakumar Yadav confirmed he will captain the side in his absence.

Suryakumar said Hardik “is not well” and “not fit for today’s game”, calling it a blow ahead of a key fixture.
