Kuldeep Yadav will play his 100th match in the Indian Premier League today, a quiet milestone for a bowler who has rebuilt his role over the last few seasons.

Last season showed his value

In the 2025 season, Kuldeep played a key role with the ball. He picked up 17 wickets in 15 matches, averaging around 23, with an economy rate close to 8.2. Those numbers do not stand out at first glance, but they came in difficult overs, often against set batters.

More importantly, he gave his captain control through the middle phase. That allowed seamers to be used more flexibly at the death.
