IPL 2024: “We will definitely have a chat,” Hardik Pandya eagerly waits for ex-captain Rohit Sharma

Hardik Pandya, the recently appointed captain of the Mumbai Indians, is equally eager to rejoin his old captain Rohit Sharma as the Indian Premier League side’s new campaign gets underway.

Hardik Pandya indicates that professionalism will be on display, saying, “We are all professionals, and by the time the team comes together and once he comes in, we will definitely have a chat.”

Hardik Pandya revealed how little contact he had with Rohit Sharma over the last few months. He explained how long they had been part of the same national team as he took the captaincy from Rohit Sharma, who captained India in a variety of styles.

“I have played for 10-year-plus under him, and I know he is going to have his hand on my shoulders throughout the season .He has always done that, and we have won 5 times; let’s not forget that,” the speech was accompanied by a lot of applause.
