Boasting a strong squad with balanced capabilities across all departments, the team is eyeing their 6th title, hoping to offer MS Dhoni the perfect farewell gift.

Chennai Super Kings’ batting coach Michael Hussey on Monday made an interesting observation as he compared his captain MS Dhoni to the fictional character Benjamin Button who aged in reverse. Hussey was speaking at the inauguration of the Pavit Singh Nayar Memorial All India inter-college T20 cricket tournament for men and women overviewed by Guru Nanak College at Chennai-based when he had commented during the ongoing practice sessions on the 39 -year-old’s energy and form ahead of the Indian Premier League starting with the CSK’s home game against Royal Challengers Bangalore on March 22.

“He’s preparing really well. His knee seems good at this stage. And he’s batting extremely well at the moment. I must admit, he’s like Benjamin Button! He keeps getting better,” Hussey commented.
