IPL 2024 Auction Live: Delhi Capitals buy former SRH batter Harry Brook for 4 Crore

Delhi Capitals has purchased Harry Brook for 4 Crore Rupees who played his first IPL last season with SRH and now will play for Delhi.

In a bidding war during the IPL auction 2024, Delhi Capitals emerged victorious in buying the talented English batsman, Harry Brook. The franchise bought him for 4 Crore Rupees to bring Brook on board, adding a fresh dynamic to their batting lineup.

Brook, who made his IPL debut last season with Sunrisers Hyderabad for 12.5 crores now just sold for 4. He failed to showcase his cricketing skills and thus couldn’t garnered attention from multiple franchises.

Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals engaged in a spirited bidding contest, each were looking to secure the promising player for the upcoming season. Delhi won it in the end as they only made the first bid for him.
