IPL 2023: LSG all-rounder Marcus Stoinis set to be ruled out for remaining IPL matches?

Marcus Stoinis, the all-rounder for the Lucknow Super Giants, suffered a finger injury during the match against the Punjab Kings at the PCA Stadium in Mohali.

Stoinis had played a crucial role in LSG’s first innings by scoring his highest-ever score in the Indian Premier League – a quick-fire 72 runs off just 40 balls.

Stoinis had also provided a crucial breakthrough for his team by dismissing PBKS captain Shikhar Dhawan in the very first over of the match.

However, the Australian all-rounder suffered a finger injury while bowling his second over of the game. Atharva Taide hit a powerful straight drive, which Stoinis tried to stop with his left hand but ended up injuring himself in the process.

Shortly after leaving the game, Stoinis was observed with a splint on his finger, indicating that he needs to take some time off to immobilize and stabilize his injured finger.
