That was a superb spell from 19-year-old Suyash Sharma. The bowling figures he recorded against RCB in his debut at Eden Gardens were 4-0-30-3. Suyash has only participated in local tournaments and was spotted by KKR scouts in Delhi. At the IPL 2023 auction, the team purchased him for a base price of Rs 20 lakh. Suyash Sharma dismissed Dinesh Karthik, Anuj Rawat, and Karn Sharma. Although Suyash was not named in the KKR playing XI, he was included in the substitutes and named the impact player during the second innings. As a result of his four overs, KKR defeated RCB by 81 runs in IPL 2023 — a tremendous victory for the team.
