IPL 2022: Updated points table, orange cap, and purple cap holder after match 67th of RCB

Virat Kohli, the former Royal Challengers Bangalore captain, hammered 73 off 54 balls as RCB chased down a formidable 169-run total set by Gujarat Titans (GT) in 18.4 overs to keep their IPL 2022 play-off dreams alive. With 16 points, they are currently fourth in the points table.

Points Table – 2022

Despite losing their 67th match of the season to Royal Challengers Bangalore, Gujarat Titans have already qualified for the playoffs and remain in first place in the points table. The Lucknow Super Giants, who are now in second place, became the second team to make the playoffs with 18 points.
RCB has surpassed Delhi Capitals and is now in fourth place.

Orange Cap – 2022

Rajasthan RoyalsJos Buttler tops the Orange Cap charts with a strike rate of 148.22. K L Rahul is still in second spot with 537 runs, whereas Quinton De Kock has climbed up to third place with 502 runs. Faf du Plessis, the RCB captain, has moved up to fourth place with 443 runs.

Purple Cap – 2022

Wanindu Hasaranga of Royal Challengers Bangalore has been elevated to first spot with 24 wickets, while Rajasthan Royals’ Yuzvendra Chahal has dropped to second place.
