RCB opener Virat Kohli and skipper Faf du Plessis got the team off to a flying start, putting up 115 runs for the first wicket in 14.3 overs, with Du Plessis smashing 44 runs in 38 balls before succumbing to Rashid Khan.
Virat Kohli was also dismissed by Rashid after scoring 73 runs in 54 balls with eight fours and two sixes. Glenn Maxwell (40* in 18 balls; 5 fours and 2 sixes) eventually led the side over the line, as RCB won the match with 8 wickets in hand and 10 balls to spare.
