Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants are against each other in the ‘Eliminators’ of IPL 2022 on Wednesday, 25th May at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. RCB were invited to bat first by LSG after KL Rahul won the toss. After two early wickets, RCB sent Glenn Maxwell to stabilize the innings but it didn’t work out for them as he got out for just 9 runs.
Glenn Maxwell came onto the crease when former captain Virat Kohli departed. It was a decent start for RCB in the match as Rajat Patidar was in exceptional touch. Glenn Maxwell since the start wasn’t looking comfortable. He was yet again dismissed by a left-arm spin bowler named Krunal Pandya.
Indian left-arm all-rounders are the biggest weakness of Glenn Maxwell in the IPL. He also has a bad record against CSK all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja. Glenn Maxwell’s strike rate also drops drastically against the Left-arm spin bowler and it helped LSG as they brought in Krunal Pandya as soon as the batter comes to the crease. Krunal did the work for his team and sent Maxwell back to the pavilion in the 11th over.

Maxwell's batting innings:
– Wasted too many balls without rotating the strike
– Slowed RCB and Pathidar's momentum
– Out without realising the responsibility he had!#IPL2022 #LSGvRCB #Maxwell

Experienced batsman like #Duplessis, #Kohli and #Maxwell should know how to calm their nerves and get use to the pitch before hitting big. Very bad! #IPL #IPL2022 #RCBVSLSG #LSGvRCB
