IPL 2021: Sreesanth returns, which team may look for him?

Indian cricket fans may have fond memories of S. Sreesanth taking a brilliant catch in T20 World Cup 2007. An ability to swing the ball both ways. He was seen as a future of fast bowling for India. Many said he too aggressive and hence got into few controversies. After a spot-fixing scandal in IPL, he was banned by BCCI for 7 years to participate in any tournament.

The Kerala Ranji bowler had wonderful moments for the State. He was the first to pick Patrick in a Ranji game for Kerala. Soon he made ODI debut for India in the year 2005 against Sri-Lanka.
Let’s take a look which teams may go for him in IPL 2021.

1.Chennai Super Kings
CSK are under transition, with their senior players retiring and some players released. Sreesanth has a decent amount of experience of 44 matches. The ability to hit right lengths and swinging the ball makes him even a bigger threat for opposition batter’s to hit him for runs. MS Dhoni’s guidance can help Sreesanth to achieve success in yellow.

2.Kings XI Punjab:
It was a fabulous batting show by King’s XI batters in IPL 2020. Unfortunately, the bowlers didn’t deliver what was expected. Sreesanth with his experience and his ability to move the bowl may come handy for the KL Rahul’s team. The team lacked bowling options and conceded too many runs despite putting a humungous total on board. The bowlers failed to restrict the opponents.

3. Rajasthan Royals:
The Royals were the toughest to beat, however, they allowed opponents to come back in key moments. The team management has released Steve Smith and a couple of others including Varun Aaron. There’s a need for a fast bowler and Sreesanth looks just the right option. He is experienced and knows how to bowl in pressure.
