The first qualifier was played between Delhi capitals and Mumbai Indians in Dubai. DC won the toss. And opted to bowl first. What looked like a good start, MI maintained their momentum and di not lose a lot of wickets. Surya Kumar Yadav and de Kock supported the team well with a good partnership. Not the best outing for the skipper as he walked back for a duck. Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya finished things in style to help the side reach the giant total.

Pollard who is in great form also walked for a duck as he was caught by Rabada off an Ashwin delivery. Ashwin was the star bowler for DC as he picked 3 wickets and gave 29 runs in his spell. DC will now chase 200 to reach the finals or else move to the qualifier 2.
Suryakumar Yadav's excellent knock of 51 comes to an end as Anrich Nortje picks his wicket.
