Kings XI Punjab lost their last match against Rajasthan Royals and it ended their 5 match winning streak. KXIP had lost most of their first half matches which have put them on a tight couch on the points table. They are currently t 12 points on the fourth spot on the points table and have one last match to play. On the other hand KKR and RR are also on 12 points each.
Punjab will play their last match against Chennai Super Kings who are already out of the tournament but are coming from a win against KKR. Even a win against CSK won’t guarantee them a playoff spot they will need support from the other teams as well.
The team has done pretty well and has a lot of in form batsman including skipper KL Rahul and the universe boss himself. The side is missing Mayank Agarwal who did extremely well but is sitting out due to an injury. Skipper will be hopeful that the bowlers are at the top of their game and help the team qualify.
