Will Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) win eliminate the playoff hopes of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Rajasthan Royals (RR).

Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) will take on Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the 50 match of the Dream11 IPL Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020. Kings XI Punjab’s (KXIP) win in today’s match will end the hopes of Rajasthan Royals (RR) playoffs in the game. Not only Rajasthan Royals (RR) but , also Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will also be almost out of the playoffs with KXIP win.

The Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) have won back to back five wins and will make it six with today’s win which will bring them closer to the victory. The Punjab based franchise will make its position with the other tops teams in the Indian Premier League (IPL) points table.

If Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) win today then, it will not only eliminate the playoff chances for Rajasthan Royals (RR) but also of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), who lost to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Thursday.

1) KXIP beat RR means, Royals will leave out the tournament. KXIP will join Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Delhi Capitals (DC) as third team with 14 points. Mumbai Indians already have 16 points and are at the top of the points table. Rajasthan Royals (RR) can’t reach this number even if they win in the next match. Maximum they can get is 12 points – so they will exit.

2) KXIP beat RR means, Kolkata Knight Riders will almost be out of the tournament. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) currently has 12 points from 13 matches with a very inferior NRR of -0.467. Only if KKR wins the next match by a margin of more than 120 Runs – they can have some hope of qualification.

The victory against Rajashthan Royals (RR) will make Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) the biggest contender for the playoffs place. Incase, if Kings XI Punjab lose today’s match, they can still qualify if they win their next game.
