Last month, the BCCI had announced the Indian squads for all the three formats but Rohit Sharma’s name wasn’t included in all of them as the batsman was suffering with a hamstring injury. The tour more than just a month away, the selectors’ decision made many believe that Rohit Sharma’s injury was serious.
Earlier, BCCI president Sourav Ganguly speaking on the return of Rohit Sharma, said “BCCI will do everything to bring back Rohit Sharma on field”.
The schedule for India’s tour to Australia was confirmed in October. The ODIs will start on November 27 followed by matches on November 29 and December 2. The T20Is will be held on December 4, 6 and 8 followed by the first of the four Test matches in Adelaide from December 17.
