Sunrisers Hyderabad win match 40 of the Dream11 IPL 2020 against the Rajasthan Royals by 8 wickets at Dubai in a very comfortable fashion.
Rajasthan Royals picked up early wickets of both the SRH openers, thanks to their marquee fast-bowler Jofra Archer. However, it was the ‘Manish Pandey’ show thereafter as he remained unbeaten at 83 runs in 47 balls to take Hyderabad home. Pandey also smashed an impressive 8 sixes in his match-winning innings.
Vijay Shankar batted well along with Pandey remaining unbeaten as well for 52 runs in 51 balls, hitting 6 impressive boundaries. His impressive innings with the bat was preceded with his bowling performance in the 1st innings as he picked up a wicket and conceded just 15 runs in his 3 overs.
This result means that SRH move to 5th in the points table, just one win behind the Kolkata Knight Riders while having a much better net run rate, whereas the Royals slip down to 7th behind the Kings XI Punjab. RR have to win the remaining of their 3 games in the tournament to have any chance of making it to the playoffs.
