Match 43 of the Dream11 IPL 2020 ends in a nail-biting victory for the Kings XI Punjab over the Sunrisers Hyderabad by 12 runs.
SRH had to chase a target of 127 runs in 20 overs in the second innings at they looked very comfortable half-way through their chase. Vijay Shankar and Manish Pandey; the partnership that won them the last game, looked on course to take their side home in this game as well. However, it all fell apart in the final 4 overs.
Young Arshdeep Singh and Chris Jordan picked up 6 wickets in the last 4 overs, 3 of which came in the last over bowled by Arshdeep. The pair finished with figures of 3/23 for Arshdeep in his 3.5 overs and 3/17 for Jordan in his 4 overs. There was a wicket each for the rest of the bowlers in Ravi Bishnoi, Mohammad Shami and Murugun Ashwin.
This is Punjab’s 4th successive victory as they look to make a remarkable turnaround in the tournament and qualify for the playoffs.
