Rajasthan Royals have on match 50 of Dream11 IPL 2020 against Kings XI Punjab by 7 wickets at Abu Dhabi, as the result now creates a nail-biting weekend for the playoff spots.
RR went into the second innings having to chase a target of 186 runs set by Kings XI in the first innings, courtesy of Chris Gayle. Ben Stokes opened the innings and provided an explosive start to his team, setting the platform wonderfully. Sanju Samson then took charge as he scored 48 runs in 25 balls, and the match was eventually finished off by Steve Smith and Jos Buttler who scored 31 runs in 20 balls and 22 runs in 11 balls respectively.
KXIP bowlers had a horrible day on the park as the Royals managed to chase 186 runs with 15 balls to spare. Murugun Ashwin and Chris Jordan were the only bowlers to have picked up a wicket each for their side, as rest of the bowlers just could not get going today.
Rajasthan’s victory now means that still 6 teams have a chance to grab the remaining 3 spots in the playoffs which calls for an exciting finish to the tournament.
