Kings XI Punjab win match 46 of the Dream11 IPL 2020 against the Kolkata Knight Riders at Sharjah to make it five consecutive wins in the tournament for themselves.

KXIP went into the second innings having to chase down a target of 150 runs in 20 overs, which they achieved rather comfortably at the end. Captain KL Rahul fell for 28 runs in the powerplay which was followed by a 100 run partnership between Mandeep Singh and Chris Gayle. Mandeep Singh was the star of the show remaining unbeaten at 66 runs in 56 balls and the ‘Universe Boss’ ended up scoring 51 runs in just 29 balls before losing his wicket.
Lockie Ferguson and Varun Chakravarthy were the only bowlers to pick up a wicket each for KKR as the rest of the bowlers could not get going on a batting friendly pitch. Kings XI now climb up to the 4th spot in the points table after this victory and are now in with a big shout for making it to the playoffs.
