Sunrisers Hyderabad scores 162 thanks to Jonny Bairstow scoring a half-century in a must-win game against Delhi Capitals

Sunrisers Hyderabad managed to score a decent total of 162 runs at the loss of 4 wickets against Delhi Capitals in the 11th match of IPL 2020. Delhi Capitals won the toss and opted to field first.

Sunrisers Hyderabad had a decent start to the game as Jonny Bairstow and David Warner had a partnership of 60 runs in 8 overs. However SRH lost the wicket of their Skipper David Warner as he scored 45 runs in 33 balls.

New Zealand’s Skipper Kane Williamson, who played his first match for Sunrisers Hyderabad IPL 2020, came to bat at no 4th position and managed to score 41 runs in 26 balls smashing 5 boundaries. Jonny Bairstow completed his fourth half-century in IPL but unfortunately lost his wicket and he managed to score 53 runs in 48 balls. The 18-year-old Kashmiri right-handed batsman Abdul Samad made his debut today scoring 12 runs in 7 balls.

Speaking of the Delhi Capitals bowlers, the pick of the bowlers was Kagiso Rabada who bowled 4 over and conceded only 21 runs and picked 2 wickets. Amit Mishra in his 4 overs conceded 35 runs and snatched 2 wickets. Anrich Nortje turned out to be the most expensive player as he conceded 40 runs in his 4 overs.
