On Thursday, Chennai Super Kings faced their arch-rivals Mumbai Indians at the iconic Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Chennai after winning the toss and electing to field restricted Mumbai Indians at a score of 155 runs. Mukesh Choudhary was the man to watch out for in the game. He took the massive wickets of Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan in the very first over of the match, sending both the batters back for a duck.
With this Choudhary became the first Indian as well as the first uncapped player to dismiss both openers for a duck in IPL. The other two bowlers to do the same are Pakistani cricketer Sohail Tanvir and Australian swing bowler Ryan Harris. CSK has been seen showing trust in Choudhary throughout the season. Today’s performance by Choudhary implied what sort of player he is and he is here for the long run.
