IPL star Kuldeep Sen to replace Deepak Chahar for Asia Cup 2022

According to a report in Dainik Bhaskar, the right-arm medium pacer Deepak Chahar will be replaced in the India National Cricket Team’s squad for the Asia Cup 2022 by the 25-year-old right-arm pacer Kuldeep Sen, who performs for Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and Madhya Pradesh in domestic cricket.

Chahar will miss the competition due to an injury, and Kuldeep has been added to the roster, according to the same Dainik Bhaskar report from Kuldeep’s coach Aril Anthony.

According to Kuldeep’s brother Jagdeep Sen, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) top selector called Kuldeep on August 22 to let him know he has been chosen for the team.

The 15th Asia Cup, which will take place from August 27 to September 11, will take place in 2022. The host nation of Sri Lanka will play Afghanistan in the opening match of the tournament, which will take place in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
