IPL 2024: I will be surprise if MI doesn’t comeback, says Irfan Pathan

On Wednesday, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians had the clash of the season. The match conceded more than 500 runs, making it a record in the history of the IPL. Sunrisers Hyderabad had a blazing night, making it a day to remember by breaking many records in their name. The men in orange made history by scoring the highest total ever of 277 for 3 in any IPL season. Whereas, Abhishek Sharma scored the fastest fifty for SRH in just 16 balls, followed by Travis Head scoring the second fastest fifty for the franchise in just 17 balls.

However, Mumbai gave a tough time to the Sunrisers bowlers and were going head-to-head with the required run rate. At one point, it seemed like MI would take away the game with Tilak Verma (64) and Naman Dhir (30) at the crease. But with Pat Cummins brilliant batting and calculated decisions, SRH stood victorious by 31 runs.

Indian veteran and all-rounder Irfan Pathan took it to Twitter to show his support for the Mumbai Indians. He is sure about their comeback in the Tata IPL 2024. The ex-cricketer turned commentator is sure of the strength MI holds and the depth they have both with the bat and the ball.

To this tweet fans responded for Hardik’s poor decision with the ball as well as slow batting rate.
