
Sports anchor Mayanti Langer, whose name was missing from the broadcasters list announced by Star Sports, revealed the reason for her absence from IPL 2020.
Viewers were contemplating the reasons for her absence from the IPL broadcasters panel. Nonetheless, Mayanti Langer addressed all those rumors by taking it to social media and revealed that she was blessed with a baby boy due to which she will be unavailable for IPL 2020.

Mayanti Langer addressed the viewer’s quest on twitter and her reasonable split between her and Star Sports. She wrote a heartfelt note stating Star Sports has given her the incredible privilege of headlining some of the most high-profile events over the past five years. She also expressed her gratitude for the broadcaster supporting her when she needed them the most.
Clarifying further she also stated that Star Sports made various certain adjustments to guarantee that she was comfortable hosting until she was five months pregnant with her son. She also shared if the IPL would have taken place with its original schedule she would have presented the season then.
Mayanti Langer also revealed with the announcement that she and her husband Stuart Binny welcomed their baby boy six months ago. Along with the note she shared a picture with her newborn baby and husband with all smiles.
