Indian cricketer Jasprit Bumrah watched Spain vs Italy Euro 2020 match at Wembley with his wife

Indian cricketer Jasprit Bumrah was present at Wembley Stadium with his wife Sanjana Ganesan to watch the 2020 European Championship semis between Spain and Italy.

The married couple can be seen accompanying in stands of Wembley Stadium in the picture Bumrah posted on his social media handles with Spanish and Italian flags in the caption.

The match ended in favour of Italy where they booked their spot for the Euro 2020 championship overcoming Spain on a penalty shoot-out by 4-2.

The 27-year-old fast bowler Bumrah was on a 20-day break as the Indian cricket squad is given an allowance for vacation by the World Test Championship (WTC). The three-week break is given to the team till July 14 before they assemble in London to prepare for the England series.

While most players are glimpsed in England to spend time with their families, other players made time for other sports to enjoy and were seen attending various ongoing tournaments. Earlier, Rishabh Pant visited a Euro 2020 fixture between England vs Germany on June 29 where the Germans lost 2-0.

Ravichandran Ashwin was observed rejoicing some live tennis action at Wimbledon with the picture he posted on his Instagram captioning “Still high on tennis from yesterday. Dream come true. Wimbledon 2021.” 

India had failed the final of the World Test Championship against New Zealand by eight wickets. The Indian team will be back in action to face England next in their impending five-match series.
