India announced the T20I squad against England starting from 12th March, Bumrah is missing

Ongoing England’s tour to India is a treat to watch for cricket fans as both teams are showcasing their skills on the field. The Test series is still level at 1-1. England will play 5 matches T20I series after the Test series. The visitors already announced their team for the series. Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the Indian T20 squad on their Twitter handle on Saturday.

The Indian team is looking more fascinating because of some incredible entries in the team and also some experienced players are not part of the squad that opens up a forum of doubts for Indian cricket fans. Virat Kohli, the skipper will collaborate thing along with Rohit Sharma who is the vice-captain of the squad.

Shikhar Dhawan who was not part of the Test squad will make the comeback in the T20I series alongside Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul,  and Hardik Pandya. Suryakumar Yadav will debut in the upcoming series for India. He showcased his skills in the shortest format of cricket through the Indian Premier League. Rahul Tewatiya who shown his brilliance in the last season of IPL also got the maiden call from the BCCI.

Rishabh Pant made the comeback in the squad after a long time. India believes in the young unit this time, and gave chances to many new players who showcased their talent in the recent time. Ishan Kishan and Varun Chakravarthy are also part of the team that can make their debut in the upcoming series. The bowling unit of India is a little inexperienced but strong with having Deepak Chahar, Washington Sundar, Navdeep Saini, Axar Patel, and Shardul Thakur, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

The most shocking thing about the squad is the absence of experienced Indian bowlers like Jasprit Bumrah and  Yuzvendra Chahal. Jasprit Bumrah who is currently a part of the Test squad but missed the second Test against England will be the major missing for the team in the upcoming series against England.

The series is scheduled to start from 12 March, with having 5 matches. the series will end on 20 March.
