India chased a target of 184 runs to win the 2nd T20I successfully. Shreyas Iyer was the hero of the match. Iyer smashed 74* runs in 44 balls; his fantastic innings included six fours and four sixes which were a treat for the spectators. After returning from an injury, Ravindra Jadeja showed the cricketing world why he is called Sir Ravindra Jadeja; he scored quick 45* runs in 18 balls, including seven spectacular boundaries and a six. Sanju Samson seemed struggling in the start but made 39 runs in 25 balls, including three eye-pleasing sixes.
With this victory, Rohit Sharma broke the world record of winning most T20I as a Captain on home turf with 16 victories. India has now won 11 T20I matches in a row. Additionally, this was India’s 7th straight T20I victory at home. The team management of the Indian Cricket team would be pleased by the intent should by the middle order. After losing the opening duo early, Shreyas Iyer, Samson, and Jadeja put on a wild show for the crowd.
