Ind Vs Pak WTC 2022: Pakistan makes a promising comeback putting 159/8 on the board

In spite of the poor start Pakistan puts a challenging score of 159/8 in the first innings.

India won the toss as well as dominated Pakistan at the start of the game. Where Bhuvi started with an extremely good over, Arshdeep Singh managed to dismiss both the Pak openers for low scores.

Pakistan skipper Babar Azam was dismissed for a duck whereas Mohammad Rizwan (4) was dismissed with an easy catch-out.

However, Pakistan made a promising comeback when Masood Shan (52*) and Iftikhar Ahmed (51) put up a solid partnership. Iftikhar Ahmed smashed three sixes to Axar Patel before getting dismissed by Mohammad Shami. But Masood Shan continued to put up runs for Pakistan.

Although Indian seamers were fierce in the entire match. Arshdeep Singh and Hardik Pandya struck three wickets for the team, and Bhuvi & Shami contributed with one wicket each.

Now it’s time to see the second half of the match where we will see whether the Indian batters win the contest or will Pakistan’s bowler restricts the opposing batters.
