IND vs PAK: Wasim Akram slams broadcasters for showing wrong playing XI of Pakistan

Wasim Akram, a legendary player for Pakistan, was furious at the broadcasters’ gaffe before Sunday’s Asia Cup match between India and Pakistan in Dubai. Shahnawaz Dahani was missing from the playing XI that the broadcasters gave to former Pakistan captain Akram, who is serving as a presenter for the competition, after the toss. Speaking with Pakistan’s batting coach Mohammad Yousuf, Akram claimed to have informed him that Dahani would be appearing in the playing XI.

He was given the correct starting lineup, which did contain Dahani once the problem was resolved, but Akram was enraged and criticised the mistake during “a crucial game.”
