IND vs AUS: Mitchell Starc, Marsh, and Stoinis rested for India series

Mitchell Starc, Mitchell Marsh, and Marcus Stoinis will be rested for the India tour ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup. While Starc is suffering from a knee injury, Mitchell Marsh caught an ankle injury and Stoinis (side) too joins the duo.

While Stoinis and Marsh sustained their injuries during Australia’s ODI series against Zimbabwe and New Zealand, Starc has been left out after the selectors decided against taking any chances after a knee scan earlier on Wednesday (September 14). Australia will play a home T20I series against the West Indies and England after their India tour in order to get ready for the World Cup, when the trio is anticipated to participate again.
