Mitchell Starc of Australia joined Pakistan great Shahid Afridi in third place for most five-wicket hauls in ODIs on Sunday, thanks to his excellent swing and seam that propelled Australia to a series-leveling 10-wicket win over India.
Starc, a left-arm quick, rattled the Indian batting with his pace and swing, limiting the opposition to 117 in just 26 overs in Visakhapatnam.
Mitchell Starc, who has nine five-fors in men’s ODIs, is ranked third in the new rankings, according to the ICC. Former Pakistan cricket team captain Waqar Younis maintains his lead at the top of the table with 13 five-fors. Afridi, Starc, and Brett Lee tie for third place with nine five-fors each.
