IND v SL Pink Ball Test: India lose openers (38/2) early; crowd roars for Virat Kohli

India will remain in a spot of bother after losing openers in quick succession while batting first in the Pink ball test.

Mayank Agarwal who got run out in a confusing call-up with Rohit Sharma had only regrets at the other end after smashing initial over for a boundary. The ball seemed business from the first delivery itself, offering swing and spin. Rohit Sharma, in an attempt to defend the delivery, failed to reach the crease and was caught at the crease at the bowling of Embuldeniya. Presently, Virat Kohli and Hanuma Vihari are at the crease. What was impressive is the crowd that is roaring again from the stands and after Rohit Sharma got out, the crowd roared in tempo to welcome Virat Kohli to the crease.
