Indian team put up a phenomenal show on day 1 of the second test in the three-match series. Sri Lanka, however, couldn’t put up a solid show after wrapping up the Indian batting on day 1 itself. Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Shami’s fiery spell scalped two wickets each, making the team realize that apart from spin, the pitch also offers seam and swing. Sri Lanka, however, struggled under lights and failed to catch up with the movement and bounce. Axar Patel dropped Asalanka to leave the Sri Lankan side dangling unable to read the deliveries.
