IND v SA T20I: BCCI asks Indian players to assemble in Delhi ahead of limited overs’ bilateral series against South Africa

KL Rahul led Indian team will arrive in Delhi on June 5 to begin their preparation for the T20I series against visitor South Africa.


The Indian team is geared up after an enthralling IPL that opened the box of surprises. The IPL kept throwing the surprise in the form of new players, teams, and the old horses being cold this season. But a lot is being expected out of the surprises received in the IPL that will yet again open gates for the youngsters with a number of cricketing events lined up. The likes of Arshdeep Singh, Umran Malik, and Avesh Khan will be expected to debut for India alongside Bhuvaneshwar Kumar and Harshal Patel.

Much depends on how the team full of fresh faces and old horses like Hardik Pandya who won the IPL Title for Gujarat Titans will be groomed. According to the latest reports, the BCCI has asked the squad to assemble in Delhi on June 05 ahead of their first match on June 09, 2022. KL Rahul led side will arrive in Delhi for training on June 05, 2022, while the South African squad will arrive in Delhi on June 06, 2022, according to the sources. In absence of Rohit Sharma, who is touring to England for a lone test against England that was called off earlier. Rishabh Pant is handed over the vice-captaincy of the team.
