Harry Brooks withdraws from IPL 2024, confirms reason for the big absence

Young English batter Harry Brooks has confirmed that he will be missing out the Indian Premier League 2024 amid his grandmother’s death. Brook also pulled out from the Test series in India deciding to stay with his family following the missing out of IPL 2024.

The 25-year old batter was picked by Delhi Capitals and was all set to show his skills ahead in the tournament.

“I was so excited to be picked by Delhi Capitals and was so looking forward to joining up with everyone,” Brook said in a statement on Instagram.

Brook was bought by Delhi Capitals for 4Cr in the IPL 2024 auction. The young England batter has scored four Test hundred in 12 appearances.
