Former India captain survives a fatal accident in Rajasthan

Former Indian captain Mohammed Azharuddin experienced an unfortunate accident in Rajasthan as his car overturned as per the police officials. He was travelling near Sawai Madhopur which is not very far from Jaipur. He was accompanied by three other people who were there with him when the car overturned.

According to the officials, the car overturned as the driver was trying to get past the traffic from the side and lost the balance of the car which resulted in the car overturning in the adjoining field. No one was injured in this incident besides a roadside stall owner nearby.

All the individuals involved were taken to the nearest hospital including the Former Indian captain where the stall owner who suffered minor injuries in the accident was treated and sent back.

Soon, a new car was called for Azharuddin and he was on the road again after some time.

This was an unfortunate incident which could have been fatal but the former captain escaped unhurt, fortunately. There has been no official statement from Azhar’s family regarding the incident.

Azhar was banned from the game for his alleged role in a match-fixing incident which took place after ’96 World Cup.
