In the ongoing ODI series between England Women and West Indies Women, the visitors have sealed the series win after the 2nd ODI win. After Amy Jones and Sophia Dunkley gave the visitors a solid start in Antigua with half-centuries, England’s bowling unit sealed the series win with a thrilling spell. Coincidentally England Women have won both the games by 142 runs.

West Indies managed to bowl England out for 260 in 48.1 overs despite Jones’ unbeaten 70 and 57 to Dunkley in an improved bowling and fielding effort after their heavey 142-run loss in the series opener.

However, Bell had two wickets in her first three deliveries, three for three in her next two overs, and four for 26 in her first spell of seven overs, leaving West Indies drifting away from the target as they were 50 for 6 after just 10 overs of their reply. Her seam bowling partner Kate Cross, as well as the spinners Sophie Ecclestone and Charlie Dean, all contributed to England’s victory by 142 runs with only 18.3 overs remaining as they bowled their opponents out for a fairly modest score of 118 runs.
