England defeats Pakistan in the 2nd T20I

England strikes Pakistan by 45 runs in the second T20 to even the three-match series. Adil Rashid, Moeen Ali and Matt Parkinson star with the ball. England forces decider.

England wins against Pakistan and levels the series 1-1 in the 2nd T20I. Jos Buttler and Saqib Mahmood shone while England parked 200 and constrained the opponent Pakistan to 155 to finalize a persuading 45-run victory levelling the 3-match T20I series that forced it to the decider at the Old Trafford which is scheduled for 20th July.

Moeen Ali was awarded as player of the match for his excellent performance and said that he snatched the chance to bat up in that order. He also told that he just tried to spin the ball and is happy to obtain two wickets. He expressed his feelings about his partnership with the England skipper Jos Buttler and said it was great.

200 was a difficult task and Pakistan never peeked in the game. Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam struck the bowlers satisfactorily in the initial overs but Babar Azam got out in the last over of the powerplay. Rizwan along with Sohaib Maqsood attempted to up the ante but Maqsood as well faced an early exit. Rizwan was required to keep up at the cease but it did not transpire as he lost his wicket early too with all the possibilities for his side fell apart.

None of the batsmen managed to stick to the partnership to play the longer innings in the crucial moment resulted in losing batting performance that allowed England to dominate the match and level to force the decider.
