Doubts over Virat Kohli being vegan solved as Indian captain’s food choices in Ahmedabad hotel give big hint

Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli is known for his fitness and is arguably one of the fittest cricketers in the world right now. One of the major reasons for his incredible fitness is his strict diet patterns.

Last year, during a chat with former England captain Kevin Pietersen, Kohli revealed that he had stopped consuming meat products. This made several speculate if Kohli is vegetarian or vegan. According to the latest reports by Republic World, it is said that the Indian captain loves eating organic and gluten-free food.

Republic World reports suggest that an Indian team source told that Kohli consumes organic egg preparations for breakfast, which is contrary to the Kohli turning vegan claims. Team India is currently staying at Hyatt Regency, Ahmedabad for the five-match T20I series against England.

During an interview with Graham Bensinger, Kohli spoke about the impact of the vegan diet on his body, despite his liking for non-vegetarian food. However, it is believed that the Indian skipper is not 100% vegan.

In addition to that reports suggest that apart from organic egg preparations, the Delhi cricketer also prefers double shot espresso, Patra and other Gujarati food as of now during his stay in Ahmedabad. Additionally, he enjoys Jamun Sorbet and dark chocolate for dessert.

Currently, Kohli is leading the Indian team against England in the T20I series wherein the series have been levelled 1-1 in the five-match series.
