CPL T20: STKNP V ZOUKS, Zouks won by 6 wickets

St Knitts Patriots faced St Lucia Zouks in the CPL in Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain, Trinidad and won by 6 wickets.

Zouks won the toss and elected to field first, the batting order of the Patriots did not have a good start as there opening pair of CA Lynn and E Lewis crumbled and were dismissed Lynn was out for duck and Lewis on 1, the middle order also faced the wrath of Zouks bowling attack majorly Mohammad Nabi who had the first 4  wickets to his name and was also the man of the match.


It was BR Dunk and Sohail Tnavir who took the charge and contributed to the teams total to have a target to defend in the second innings, Dunk had 33 runs to his name. RR Emrit and AS Joseph finished strong to mount 110 on the board after a disastrous of starts.

The Zouks took the game by its scruff and had a good start to their chase as the opening pair formed a base for the team to what seemed like a relatively comfortable chase RRS Cornwall had 26 in just 11 delivers, RL Chase remained not out with 27 to his name along with J Glen to finish of the game, Najibullah Zadran had an important knock of 32 which saw Zouks win by 6 wickets in match which was also delayed by the rains.
