CPL 2020: It was business as usual for the undefeated Knight Riders in the Caribbean Premier they win match no 27 against Zouks by 23 runs cementing their position on the top of the table.
The Zouks won the toss and chose to field first a decision which would later come to bite them back as the explosive hitting by the Trinabo batting order saw them put up a target of 176 in the first 20 overs, the notable hitting was done by DM Bravo and captain Kieron Pollard. The Zouks also contributed their bit in the total as they gave away 17 free runs in form of extras.
The target of 176 was too steep to climb for the Zouks as they fell short by 23 runs at the end of 20 overs, Though M Deyal and Fletcher put in some effort with Deyal scoring 40 and Fletcher grinding 42 this two were the only notable batting display in the batting order of the Zouks are the yet again face defeat at the hands of the Knight Riders who still are unbeaten in the competition. The Knight Riders captain again came up with the goods this time with the ball as he picked up 3 wickets which were crucial in turning the tides of the game in to their favour. This was their 9th win in the the Caribbean Premier
