Aussie pacer back in to the squad ahead of the first test

Mitchell Starc has informed the Cricket Australia management that he would be available for the pink ball test against India which will be begin from 17th December. Starc made himself available on Sunday just four days before the first test. He pulled himself out of the white ball series after the first T20 against India. He stated that it was some personal issues that made him go back in the middle of the tour. He didn’t state any comeback date to the Cricket Australia when he pulled out midway.

 

His addition to the side will be huge for the Aussies reckons his bowling partner Josh Hazelwood. He said that he will be crucial for the team to win the series. He added that there is no need to compare him with anyone, his records in the pink ball format is unbelievable.

Starc has been part of 7 pink ball games and has took 42 wickets in those games. Australian head coach Justin Langer said that Starc would obviously be the leader of pace attack and he is important to the team. He added that there would be no issue in getting Starc straight to the match as he is a experienced player and knows exactly what to do in any particular situation.

Starc will  be joining the team on Monday just few days before the first test.
