India’s tour of Australia: Rohit Sharma and Shubhman Gill opened the batting for the Indians. The openers played some good shots. Pat Cummins in his first over bowled right on the money to dismiss Gill. Leave it or play at it, the question in the mind of Gill, eventually the ball was edged in the safe hands of Steve Smith.
Cheteswar Pujara came in to bat number 3. Cummins almost got Pujara on the first ball, as the ball just bounced short of Smith in the slips. Australians were bowled out at 369/10. Indian bowling attack did their best on Day 2 of the first session, taking five wickets. Washington Sundar, Shardul Thakur and T Natarajan pocketed three wickets each.
