Apple to role out online coding courses for free. Apple has rolled out its online coding courses which are aimed at educators, for free. This time Apple has made changes in curriculum by revising existing school syllabus.
The two coding banners – ‘ Develop in Swift’ and ‘Everyone Can Code’ aim at providing basic computer education to the educators. Everyone Can Code. Especially designed for those who are naive and wants to learn basic computer science skills. And Development In Swift is more advanced is much advanced course to enhance the knowledge. They can use Apples open source programming language Swift. Susan Presscot, Apple’s vice president of Market and Services said. Furthermore, Apple has worked for 40 years in this field. And it is overwhelming for them to see. However, the two banners are playing instrumental role in educating and impacting many students and teachers.
We’ve seen community college students build food security apps for their campus and watched middle school educators host virtual coding clubs over summer break. As part of our commitment to help expand access to computer science education, we are thrilled to be adding a new professional learning course to help more educators, regardless of their experience, have the opportunity to learn coding and teach the next generation of developers and designers.
